The same hands-on care. For the people who can't afford it.
Chronic pain doesn't check your income first. But advanced, hands-on care usually comes with a price tag. Since 2020, Renew has treated low-income neighbors at no cost. Renew Healing Academy exists so no one in our community stays in pain because they can't pay.

Our mission is to provide long lasting treatment that addresses the root cause of chronic pain to underserved individuals in our community so they can live restored lives of dignity and renewed purpose.
Renew Healing Academy was formed in November 2023 as a nonprofit so the free care Renew had been giving since 2020 could reach more people. Patients are treated by Renew therapists in residency and student physical therapists, supervised by the same doctors who treat at Renew Integrative Physical Therapy.

Donate
Every gift goes toward treatment for someone who could not otherwise afford it. Give once, or become a monthly partner and fund care all year.
Volunteer
Clinicians, students, and community members all have a place here. Email us with a little about yourself and how you'd like to help, and we'll find the right fit.
Refer a patient
Know someone living with pain who can't afford care? Send them our way, or reach out on their behalf and we'll take it from there.

Complete two short applications
A medical history and a financial application.
We review your medical history
This tells us what tier of treatment you need.
We review your finances
A sliding scale decides whether your care is fully covered, partially covered, or not covered.
We call you with the answer
When the review is done, our team contacts you to discuss whether you qualify and what comes next.
Please keep in mind
- We are a needs-based organization serving low-income families in Escambia and Santa Rosa County. If your finances don't qualify you for free or reduced-cost care, we'll recommend standard care with Renew Integrative Physical Therapy with a payment plan.
- First come, first served. If you or a family member are in urgent need, we'll do our best to see you sooner or find another solution.
- Same care, slightly longer plan. You'll be treated by a Renew therapist in residency or a student PT and receive the same level of care as our Renew PTs, though your plan of care may be a bit longer.
